QUIETHe's booming out superfluously dim information about his cellphone to his intimidated friend who can't get a word in edgewise except for the occasional feeble agreeing murmur. The friend is sitting on an empty, upturned beer crate, my neighbour is casually leaning back on the balcony rail while stooping down a bit toward said friend (god forbid a word of the futile blurting should get lost in its predecessor's echos). The space between them cannot be more than a meter and still the neighbour is LOUD.QUIET
